My Blog Through Someone Else's Eyes

I have asked someone else to take a look at my blog in general and tell me what they think of it. One of the first things that caught their attention was my pictures along the right hand side of my blog. They loved looking at them and having a good laugh at them. These are pictures that describe me in many ways, varying from what I collect (M&M's) to my interests such: basketball, soccer, animals, John Deere, and country music. While trying to read some of my post though, they said that the picture where the dog's ears are flapping from the fan's wind, was distracting them. One thing that they told me to improve on my blog is to be more detailed when I write. I am so glad that I asked this person to look at my blog so that I can improve it in the future.

Last Post But Not Least

Through out this whole school year I have been publishing new post, 38 (including this one) to be exact. All of these posts were able to be seen from others who blogger just like myself. Anyone who reads my blog is able to post a comment on any post that they choose. Total I received eight comments on my blog,one of which was my own. On one of the post I received two comments. I am pretty sure that this was because I had a picture that went with it that was attractive to the eye. Everyone of the post that I posted though were just because of they were assigned in class as an assignment. I do not really have a favorite one that I wrote, but if I were to choose it would be the one titled My Town. This would be because I was able to inform people all around the world about where I live. One of my favorite posts in general though was the one where we got to create a glog and added that to out blog. My glog had a background picture that I took in Florida this past summer, and I added other pictures on it that described me. These pictures varied from animals to M&M's. I have also added some things called widgets into my blog. I do not have very many of them, so I defiantly think that I should add more to make my blog even better. Through all of the blogging challenges though, between the ones from my own teacher, and the ones from this blog, I have enjoyed completing them throughout this year and looking back and seeing how much I have changed as a writer a long the way.

Facebook

This year Facebook is celebrating their six year anniversary. At this website, there is infomation along with several graphs on how Facebook has changed of the past six years. Looking at the infomation I would say that I deffently fit in the average spot for the most part. Some of the them I do not really fit in, such as updating my status 25 times per month, uploading several photoes, and a few others But other than that through out several others I do fit right in. Looking at it from my friend's point of view though, I feel that the majority of them are right at average, if not above. Depending on which friend depends on how often they put these things on Face book. This is how my Face book is like as long as my friend's for the most part.

Copy Right? or Wrong?

I believe that my blog should need a creative commons license. This is because it's more than just me looking at my blog, but teachers, classmates, and other people all around the word too. This is why I am taking apart of this week's blogging challange and I say that all blogs should have a creative commons license.

Lights Out

If the lights were to go out for one hour at night at my house, my family would work together to stay warm at first. We would do this by someone going outside to get some wood. Meanwhile the rest of us would stay in the house and get the fire pit ready for the wood so that we can start a fire to stay warm. After that we would use the light from the fire to be able to play some sort of board game as a family. This is two activities that my family would do if the lights were to go out for one hour at night. I'm doing this post as part of this blogging challenge.

My Town

I live in Mid-Eastern Wisconsin, United Stated. Here we are able to enjoy all types of weather. Such as snow in the winter, rain in most of the spring, heat in the summer, and cool weather in the fall (autumn). Throughout the year, people around here go all around the state. For example,many people around here own a cabin(a small house in the upper part of the state) and in the summer they go up there and swim, fish, or just relax on lakes near their cabin. In the winter several people go ice fishing on lakes around the area. In this picture above, shows a typical cabin near a lake where several people in Wisconsin spend their vacations.

When do you think it is appropriate to use your picture on the internet? I think that it's only okay to use your own picture on file in which you choose who looks at them. This is the only time that I think someone should use their own picture. Click here to view this blogging challenge.

The biggest hurdle that I have to overcome in school would have to be not getting enough sleep and being tired at school. This would be because after school I play sports, and then by the time I get done with all of my homework it is really late at night. The subject that I enjoy learning about the most would have to be science. One subject that I wish they tought in our high school would have to be learning the language of Germany. Once I get out of high school I want to be a Vet. Tech. In about five years from now I could see myself living here in Seymour, Wisconsin.

The page that I picked is called "DUMPR", and it is totally free. It makes pictures look all gooy and they look as though they have melted. I really am not sure how this page would help teachers or students at school, other then the science behind melting. Overall this page that I picked is really not all that usefull unless I want to make a picture look all gooy.

Writing

Now that I have been writing for the past two months, I believe that I have defiantly grown as a writer. There has also been some difficulties that I have had to face though, such as still having a hard time thinking of a theme for my paper. I think that my paper turned out all right, it could have turned out better but it's acceptable. I don't think of myself as an "A+" writer or anything but I would say that I am best at putting things together, and I struggle at thinking ideas up.

I picked this country of Germany because when I was in second grade my family had a foreign exchange student from there. I don't really know too much about this country but I would really like to visit it someday. One thing that I would like to ask them would be is: how does their country look like, and if they were to travel where would they go.

What's on your mind right now? Is it what you have to do after school? Or is it your plans for the weekend? On my mind right now is basketball pratice in which I have to go to after school today to get ready for the game on Friday.

semester goals

This semester went pretty good over all in general with my grades and classes. Some goals that I have for the end of the semester are: stay on at least honor roll, and stay on all of my teachers good side. For second semester I plan on sticking with all of the same goals that I had for myself in first semester.

Christmas Break

This Christmas break was interesting to say the least. Some of the things that I did was I visited my family a lot and went tubing with them, had basketball practice almost every day with games on two of the days, and did some things around the house. I enjoyed not having school at all throughout all of break, that's for sure.
